Nigerian Drug Dealer Executed In Indonesia Felix Ezimoha Was Set Up By Fellow Anambra Man

September 3, 2016 – Nigerian Drug Dealer Executed In Indonesia Was Set Up By Fellow Fellow Nigerian From Anambra State, Felix Ezimoha Has 3 Children In Indonesia

Uneasiness pervades the sleepy community of Ezigbo village, Orsumoghu in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, since the death of Felix Izuchukwu Ezimoha, who was executed alongside three other Nigerians for drug trafficking in Indonesia on July 28.

Following the display of Ezimoha’s burial pictures in his mansion at Ezigbo on social media, a lot of commentators have condemned the community for giving a ‘befitting’ burial to a man executed for drug trafficking.

Our correspondent who visited the community reported that Ezimoha was born in 1981 and lived quietly in Orsumoghu till he went to Nnewi the industrial commercial hub of Anambra State to trade.

A reliable source close to the family who wants to be identified simply as Mrs. Nwaokoroafor told Saturday Telegraph yesterday that the 35-year-old Ezimoha was a humble, quiet and a gift to the entire community and beyond, whose passion for the poor and the needy knew no bound.

“I don’t want to remember the death of Izuchkwu, We cannot recover from the shock in this village in the next five decades,” she said. “The father died so many years ago. The mother is not here and his only brother is an okada man. There is nobody in their place; they all left immediately after the burial.

“I don’t know whether he collapsed before he was killed but all I am saying is that the boy was a good boy and was generous to the community and other neighbouring communities. We cannot count the number of houses he built for widows and indigents in the town.

All we are praying to God is for Him to revenge for us and Izuchukwu,” Nwaokoroafor said.

Meanwhile, his new mansion and his father’s compound were under lock and key as at the time our correspondent visited the community. But when contacted the President General of the community, Ezefunamba Hyginus, also spoke about Ezimoha.

He said:

“What I am telling was what I heard. I was not there in Indonesia. The fact was that the boy was trading at Nnewi before he left the shores of Nigeria in 2003. After a while, we didn’t hear about him. We later heard that he was apprehended by the Indonesia security operatives and was put in the prison. “On enquiry, we were told that he was arrested and nothing was found on him and in his house after the security operatives conducted their search.

We heard also that it was a conspiracy and the person who named him as a member of the drug cartel was from Anambra State, who was squatting in Izuchukwu’s house. They said they were tried and convicted but he insisted that he was not a drug born”.

He added:

“While he was in prison, he got married to an Indonesia woman and wedded in prison. He also had three children while in prisons, two boys and a girl.” Hyginus said it was through the help of his Indonesian wife that the community started getting hint about him again.

“We also learnt he continued appealing against the judgment of the lower court, who convicted him but because the witness who accused him had died, he was trapped in the prison custody until he was wasted.”

nigerian drug dealer setup by fellow nigerian

The president general said Ezimoha consistently told the Indonesia court that he knew nothing about drug business, but there was no witness to corroborate his claim.

“In fact it was painful that the Federal Government of Nigeria could not intervene despite the global attention the trial attracted. What his kinsmen were now asking was that if he was found guilty of drug trafficking as they claimed, why should they allow his corpse to be buried in Nigeria?

It means their judicial system is faulty. One would have expected a jail term even if the eye witness is late rather than execution. There are so many sides to the story now.

the story is quite confusing… i don’t get why he remarried in prison (is it to confuse the Indonesian not to try him?)
.. 2. why did he sneak out of the country (if he was not preparing for something evil)….

am not condemning him but i must say that this woman story lacks evidence and fact… but God knows better..

And if this new twist to the story now is true, what is gonna happen next…?

Maybe he was set up and maybe not. Whatever, I believe the most secret thing in life is known to God Almighty. And He shall judge.

If this account is true that he was innocently killed, THEN woe unto the Indonesian country for not conducting an indept investigtion into a matter of life and death before cutting short a vibrant life of an innocent man living in their country.

I then pronounce on the entire country: Famine, Incurarable Egyptians Diseases, Poverty, Deaths, Wars, Drought, Pestilences, Curse, Premature Births. Consistent bloody Terrorist attacks.

And for the family of the slain..

    I stroll off…

Am not surprise. Anything is possible. I asked same question when I heard about his burial. I thought his body should be taken care of by the government. Handing him over to his people didn’t really sit well with me.

I pray they get to the bottom of this because I’ve heard stories of Nigeria guys been set up by the state & found guilty.
Anyways, we’re all sinners before God . So may God forgive him his sins.

The guy u said mentioned him is his kinsmen, not a stranger. If he wasn’t one of them, his name wouldn’t be mentioned. From all indication, it doesnt sound like he went to school; so how do u justify his mansion with his short stay in an Asian country. Money is not planted on trees over there. My take

@muyi, all heads are not the same, the fact that many guys spent decades before making it does not warranty him to spend years before making it. It all depends on the gift of God in everyone’s life. If you have gone outside the country before, you will get to know that our people are wicked and out of jealousy and conspiracy, they set up each other. Why? Because most of them there uses the money they realised for clubbing and so on. Have heard of this story before, is a set up, anambra men are dangerous. May his soul rest in peace.

Note. Drug business is beta than rubbing ur fellow Nigerian of the valuable things. Take a look at what is happening now in Nigeria whereby, armed robbers terrorising every street and communities due to economy meltdown caused by the so called president you guys voted in as change of which is now chain. I rest my case.

I live in the states, with that I know what goes on abroad. You cannot exonerate a man without evidence. This is mere claim by an unknown person that doesn’t live with them. People don’t come oversea and make it same day legitimately because you have to start as a beginner. Malaysia has no immigrant processing for foreigners, meaning u work under the table. How much would he have earned working under the table in an Asian country to build house for people of his community and himself inclusive? Let’s call a spade a spade, his own kinsmen wouldn’t have mentironed him, if he wasn’t a part. Why him and not someone else? If u live oversea, I guess u should understand better.
