March 7, 2013 – Nigerian Woman Kidnapped Spanish Lover She Met On Facebook; Lured Him From Spain & Held Him Hostage

Edo State Police officials have rescued a Spanish man, Jose Anthonio Murili Turrillo who was kidnapped and held captive in a hotel room in Benin last Saturday.

The victim’s lover, Okafor Ada Joy, 28, who along with one Kenny Oyemwina, 25, lured him from Spain, took him (Spanish) hostage and made him to part with all the money he had.

According to the Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Folusho Adebanjo, who briefed journalists yesterday on successes recorded by his command in the fight against crime, “investigation revealed that the female suspect is the Spaniard lover who lured him from Spain to Nigeria and he was made to withdraw all the money he had in his domiciliary account.

“When the two suspects discovered that their victim had no money on him and in his account again, they forcefully asked him to call his sister in Spain to send 2000 Euros to them before he could be allowed to go back to Spain.” Adebanjo said the two suspects had been arrested and would soon be prosecuted.

According to the police commissioner, the sister of the victim in Spain reported to the INTERPOL Spain, which later contacted the Nigeria INTERPOL. The Nigeria INTERPOL later contacted the Edo State Command. Meanwhile, two other suspects, Iyen Osahon 19, and Esochuckwu Okorie, 22 are in police net for drugging and raping a 16-year-old girl in a hotel room.

The victim told police that she knew Osahon through facebook. The two suspects, who were said have made confessional statements would soon be charged to court, according to the Edo State Police Command boss.

The commissioner, who sued for good working collaboration with newsmen, called on members of the public to always give useful information to the police.

  4. It is a pity that some Nigerians have turned themselves to people who have no shame and morals…. I cannot imagine why people especially Blessing and Ken would support this disastrous act. she met a man on facebook and from the headline, they were lovers. White people have no shame about who they love or who they want to love. If you cannot show your love back totally why then get yourself involved in the love you claim. This girl and the Nigerian guy show spend the rest of their lives in jail because they have destroyed the image of this country. Everyday we fight hard to maintain the name of this country but some people see pleasure in destroying the name of the country. May God save us all.

  5. Nigerians are tarnishing their country’s image. All over the world, drug traffickers, rapists, gay churches etc all are found to be Nigerians.

  6. Plz dont say wat u dont know, the girl didnt meet the man on facebook, She know the man, the girl was living in Spain, she was deported back to Nigeria 2012, last year, i know them too well, say only wat u know,
