Empress Njamah: I’m Not Rushing Into Marriage Because I Don’t Want To Be A Single Mother
April 16, 2016 – Nigerian Actress Empress Njamah: I’m Not Rushing Into Marriage Because I Don’t Want To Be A Single Mother
In this recent chat with Saturday Beats, Nollywood actress Empress Njamah revealed why she is yet to marry like her colleagues and her fear of being a single mother.
When asked why she is yet to give marriage a try, the philanthropist said:
“I am a realist. I am not the kind of woman who thinks that things just come to you. It will come at some point. It is not easy for people like us in the limelight unlike others. What kills us sometimes, is wanting to be perfect. A lot of people who fancy you probably don’t fancy being in the news.”
“Many married people in the industry who pretend that they are happy about being ‘Baby Mamas’ go home and feel sorry for themselves wishing that have a proper man.
“I have friends who feel that they have got to a certain age and they are not taken. These days, there are 30 women to a man. There is no pressure on me for not being married because I come from an enlightened family.
“Most of the things happening in the industry are not encouraging. This week, you are happy and have a big wedding, the next, you have broken up. What is the essence?”

Wise decision there my dear Empress. I applaud your take on this issue. You are being so reasonable. Dont let anybody push you into something that could have an everlasting regret.
There‘s something about this girl that always catch my fancy…the sparkles in her eyes!
Wow! What makes her different from other actresses in the industry, makes her beautiful to me.
If Segun Arinze were single, Empress would have been a perfect match for him. Haha.. Una go fear eyes nah.
Their children‘s name would have also goes like… Isaac, Isaiah…etc

Very stupid reason. How do you guarantee that you will never become a single mother. People need to grow up in their thinking.

My dear Empress, if this is who you truly are, then I pray God to keep you worthy, and guide you unto the day that the perfect man for you would meet you. It is a sacrilege to get married only to divorce some months/years later. Yet many people find it classy. The high rate of divorce these days is not because the man is a serial womanizer or a wife batterer, nor is it because the woman is an adultrous bitch. No! Divorce is simply because most people of nowadays have overlooked the basic things you look to see in a man or woman before walking down the aisle. The whole attention is now on swag. Does he/she have swag? Yet nobody wants to be cheated with swag; no woman wants to be battered swaggarliciously.
And so Empress, if you truly dread this divorce, may you never experience it in Jesus Name! Take your time and shine your eyes. With sublime wisdom, God shall direct you on who to choose at last.

It’s a laudable thought but as the saying goes, if you stand by the roadside and close your eyeless because you do not want to see bad people passing, when a good man passes by you will also not see. It is a step of faith because there is no way of being 100%sure you know everything about the partner you choose.
Just trust and go for it babe and you’ll be okay.
