April 23, 2016 – OAU Lecturers: We Embarked On Mass Annual Vacation Because Our Colleagues Are Dying Of Stress

All OAU lecturers have embarked on a mass annual leave to relieve themselves of stress.

The chairman of OAU Academic Staff Union made this known in an exclusive chat with NAN today in Ile Ife.

Dr Caleb Aborisade said the lecturers demanded for the annual leave because of the incessant deaths of their colleagues.

Hear him:

“our annual leave is for the wellbeing of our students and also to allow the lecturers to rest.
“The rate at which the lecturers are dying in office is worrisome, due to their inability to have enough rest. Our going on annual leave will enable us to relax to prepare for the next session.”

Academics activities will resume at the higher institution on Friday the 24th of June 2016.

This is a record breaking mass annual leave. Why not rotate it???
