Odunlade Adekola Happy About First AMVCA Award “I Joined The Industry In 1996, This Award Means A Lot To Me”
Top Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola has corrected the impression that he started acting fully loaded.
While speaking shortly after the event, the actor said the award speaks a lot to his career.
“Let me correct this impression that I came into the industry when everywhere was ‘loaded’. I joined the industry in 1996 that’s about 22 years ago. The movie industry wasn’t as big as this at the time. So, I didn’t run into theatre, I’ve been there for quite a while but I still give glory to Almighty God and you can’t achieve anything without the power of God.”
On his recent award, the actor said:
“It’s not a very easy task to make people laugh, and also have a great time. Sincerely, I feel very good.”
