Pastor Johnson Adeleke, a cleric who raped a teenage church member in Abeokuta Ogun state back in 2004 has been sentenced to 5 year behind bars.
The Pastor of a new generation church in Abeokuta was yesterday sentenced to 5 year behind bars by Justice Olatokunbo Majekodunmi of an Abeokuta High Court in Isabo.
Justice Majekodunmi revealed that the Pastor slept with the victim in 2004 during a night vigil he organized at the home of the victim’s parents.
In her ruling, Majekodunmi said:
Pastor Adeleke was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment with hard labour with no option of fine.
