Members of PDP have come to terms with the fact that without Obasanjo’s backing, they might lose the upcoming election to the opposition party, APC.

The National Chairman of the ruling party, Adamu Muazu tendered the official apology on behalf of all the party members in Abuja to Ex-President Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo yesterday.

This came few days after Ex-Ogun Governor Gbenga Daniel was barred from entering Obasanjo’s residence. Gbenga who is currently facing corruption trial has defected from the Labour Party to PDP

Below is the official apology tendered to Obasanjo yesterday:

“All of us must beg Obasanjo to forgive us. We need to beg him. He is very prayerful and we need to ask him to forgive us so that we can be forgiven. We are your children.”

“We have made mistakes and baba, please forgive us. Come and lead us. We are your followers and we assure you that we are all good boys and girls. We have sinned. Baba please forgive us.”
