lawmaker sues buhari bailout

July 15, 2015 – PDP House Member, Lawmaker  Hon. Igariwey Sues Buhari Over N400 Billion Bailout Package For Payment Of States Workers Salaries

A member of the National House of Representative, Hon. Igariwey has sued President Buhari and other federal workers for giving N400 Billion to states struggling to pay workers salaries.

Igariwey insisted that the decision was unconstitutional.

He filed the legal case at a High Court in Abuja today. He is challenging to establish if President Buhari has the power to approve the disbursement of the N400 billion bailout package.

Joined in the suit alongside President Buhari are the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister for Justice and the Federal Ministry of Finance. Others are the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, the Accountant General of the Federation and Auditor General of the Federation.

Interesting to know that someone is not happy that struggling workers are about to be paid.

Oho we now know those of you who normally withhold and stop workers from being paid while you use the money to send your children to costly universities overseas. I think you Igariwey would have been the most happiest person if the money was given to you instead to bail out workers salaries.

Is very sad how some of our Nigerians are selfish to others when it comes to paying workers salaries. Good for this great move Buhari. Thank you for helping the poor whose children cannot go to school because of lack of salary.

Sorry your sue will not work and will go back to any enemies of progress in this nation.

Dishonorable Igariwey you must be out of your damn mind for instituting charges against Buhari. What do you think Buhari could have done differently to address the problem of unpaid workers? I don’t know how you manage to be elected into that position. You suppose to work for your people not against them. In as much you can get paid, you don’t care if workers in your constituency get paid for almost one year. Are you really a law maker? you must be suffering from political amnesia and your charges doesn’t make sense.

Money that was paid in by the LNG as revenue and was shared among the 3 tiers of government according to revenue formula what is the illegality here, what is the work of the national assembly in this matter, do national assembly approve monthly allocation? Enemy of progress he is happy as workers are groaning in pain …….what a representative of his people who take delight in people’s suffering. Nigeria worker should black list this man.

The countenance of this Igariwey man looks every inch like that of a chronic sadist. But it is constitutional to pay a Federal law maker 18million naira as furniture and wardrobe allowance only!

It is a pity that there are those who suppose not to be in position to represent a people but they are there in Parliament. What a country. Nigerian political selection process frail with serious error. Nigeria need good people and people with integrity in position of authority. Until this happens Nigeria will continue to be in serious trouble.
