Doctors at various hospital in the East African country have now adopted Kangaroo style (stuffing newborn babies inside mothers’s dresses) to achieve skin to skin contact which generate heat.

The Kangaroo technique which was first introduced in Colombia over 30 years ago promotes intimacy between mother and baby thereby giving the sense of comfort and safety the child needs.
