For refusing to nurse her husband mistress’ 2-year-old baby, this woman was beaten to a pulp by her husband and his family members on Sallah Day.

Sinmiat Omowunmi Ogunbanjo was attacked by Jimmy Omotalabo Ogunbanjo at their matrimonial home in Ijebu Ode last week.

Trouble started for Omowumi after her husband, Jimmy, who is a staff of Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Abeokuta, in Ogun State, returned home with a two-year old baby.

The 40-year-old begged her to nurse the baby because his mistress couldn’t take proper care of the child but she refused.

Her refusal infuriated Jimmy and his family members who descended on Sinmiat and sent her packing.

The victim was seriously injured with scars all over her body.

She has been referred to an NGO getting ready to petition the police.
