On Wednesday, Nigeria’s National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA nabbed three Nigerians smuggling drugs to China and Dubai at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja.

One of the suspects identified as 33-year-old Friday Ogbonna was smuggling 35Kg of Cannabis Sativa hidden inside Gala sausage rolls to China.

The other two, 34-year-old David Famolu and 25-year-old Joy Osamunyi were smuggling 24kg of Cannabis to Dubai when the agency caught them.

    In as much as i dont condone or support drug business, these are trying times 4 naija youths, nofing is working , many youths who want 2 work are unemployed , companies are reducing workers in mass , contractors & companies were being owed 4 jobs they did years & months back by govt, all because of elections, forcing employers to employees at home

    Thank your stars you were caught in Nigerian and not in Dubai where you could have had one of your limbs chopped off or worse still in China where you could have had your brains blown out with a gun. What is wrong with these people? It is unbelievable that even with all the recent reports in the media about Nigerians awaiting execution in some Asian countries, people still are willing to undertake such dangerous missions. It is really hard to feel sorry for these guy when they eventually get caught.

    I don’t support drug trafficking in any way but we all should blame and punish those leaders that trafficked out the money that could have sustained our economy and avoided this mess. No be so??

    Nobody should feel sorry for these fools. They are lucky they were caught in Nigeria where they can bribe their way out and not in those foreign lands where they would have faced possible execution.
