Five members of a notorious 419 syndicate duping those looking for authentic US dollars have been arrested.
The suspects identified as Rabius Salisu, Umar Abubakar, Abdullahi Haruna, Musa Magazji and Idris Ibrahim were caught in a bush at Sabon Gari area of Kurmin Kogi in Ikara LGA of Kaduna state.
According to EFCC, the group comprising of 4 Nigerians and a Niger Republic citizen specialise in duping Nigerians of their hard earned monies.
EFCC spokesperson, Uwujaren Wilson said the total sum of $570,000 fake US dollar note and assorted charms were recovered from the 5-man gang.
