Sept 24, 2014 – Pictures: Emir Of Kano Visits Alaafin Of Oyo’s Palace, Sanusi Bows To Greet Oba Lamidi Adeyemi

The Emir of Kano was a recent guest at the palace of Oyo’s top Royal father, Alaafin of Oyo.

Last week, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi paid a courtesy visit to the palace of Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III.

The popular Emir was spotted without his turban during the visit.

As a sign of humility, Sanusi went on his knees to greet His Imperial Majesty while paying homage to him.

Just like any other visitors would do, Sanusi also signed a visitors log book.

Sources in the know say Sanusi went there to solicit for some form of spiritual help.

  1. The Emir of Kano’s visit does not and cannot in anywhere affect #BringBackGoodluck2015#.Sanusi get it into your head right.

  2. He is just a young emir, and he needs to know how it goes and for his senior colleagues to bless him, nothing bad. he as to build relationship with major obas in Nigeria just as ado bayero himself as done before.

  3. I beg make una dey post better news jare. I am tired of this Alaafin of Oyo sudden popularity. He needs to repent and give his life to Jesus Christ, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords.

  4. I believe HRH d Emir of Kano did nt go to d Alaafin palace as d Emir of Kano rather it’s a private visit as a son to d Oba/Alaafin of Oyo whom is a personal friend to HRH d late Emir of Kano Alh. Ado Barero who is an uncle and inlaw to d present Emir of Kano. Take Notice HRH d Emir of Kano Alh. Sanusi 2 didn’t wear his regalia or hold any staff of office . Equally, non of his subject are within d palace. If d visit is official he cant/will nt bow to d Oba/Alaafin as they are equall In status traditionally and officially.
