A female politician was killed on the streets of England yesterday.
The murder of 41-year-old Jo Cox in broad daylight caused deep shock across Britain.
Cox a lawmaker for Labour Party was attacked after a meeting in Birstall near Leeds.
She was shot twice by her attacker and stabbed to death.
Her attacker, a 52-year-old man was arrested by officers nearby.
The motive for the attack was not known as at the time of this report.
