The founder of Apostolic Good News Church in Accra Ghana has been arrested for adultery.
The Pastor identified as Apostle Douglas Amanor was caught on the matrimonial bed of one of his church members, one Mrs Mina Adjei whose marriage is currently on the verge of collapse over irreconcilable differences.
The husband of the adulterous woman, Mr Thomas Adjei caught the duo on their matrimonial bed in Accra.
Mr Adjei said he was so sad and dumbfounded to see the man he sees as a mentor ‘smooching’ his wife on their matrimonial bed at EMEFS Estate in Lashibi area of Accra.
The couple have been married for 9 years and blessed with 2 kids (a boy and a girl).
The randy pastor and the unrepentant adulterous wife were arrested shortly after Mr Thomas Adjei reported the matter to the police.
They have been freed on bail.

What is wrong with some women. Why are they fond of sleeping with these charlatans. How on earth do you expect to receive favors from god when you are doing what he hates. Soon these fake pastors are going to be shot by disgruntled husbands. How can
you claim to be a man of God and still have the nerves to stand on the pulpit and preach. The pulpit is meant to be a secrete place. It is an insult to God to bring your filthy sinful unclean self to the pulpit.

You are very correct Metu. I would have either committed double murder or shoot both of them in their private parts. This sort of thing is very common these days. I hate to call it part of civilization imported from the western world. What baffles me is why the so called men of God will mount on the pulpit to preach to their congregation while at the same time go against their preaching. I feel it’s an insult to God.

Though morally and socially wrong and unjustifiable especially when it involves a pastor, adultery is never a criminal offence in both Nigeria and Ghana to warrant a police arrest. However in northern Nigeria under Penal Code it is. That is the only area police can arrest for committing adultery
Again police may justify its arrest on this ground for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace.

To answer that your question, I submit that this is both stupidity and wickedness. @ Metu.
Though this is the only ground on which a man can divorce his wife if he so wish. But its not without its own problem. The problem is that, even after divorcing her, you must remain unmarried till death take her down six feets below the ground. That one no be gobe be that?
Apart from that, if you divorce your wife today, in the homes of some of the people who attended your wedding are your wedding pixs in which both of you were standing facing each other and smiling, IN THE PICTURES!
Can you go round and seperate that too?

If this story is credible that this so call pastor actually went into another man‘s matrimonial house, and fucked his wife on his matrimonial bed then Its possible this was not the only woman he has fucked in that place he called church.
Now after all these, how‘s his relationship with the church be including his wife at home?

My respect goes to the husband that caught his wife and so called pastor. In my opinion he acted in the way of God and he should be the one taking over that church as a pastor because if he’s of blood and fresh at the time he walked into that room, the adulterous wife and so called pastor would have been “RIP” and history.
