July 6, 2015 – Pictures: Lagos Speaker Visits Home Of Mother Of 3 Twins Abandoned By Husband, Warns Emeka Benjamin Uche To Come Forward

LASG yesterday appealed to Mr Emeka Benjamin Uche, the man who abandoned his wife and children in Agege and fled to Ikorodu to come forward.

The 39-year-old factory worker in Ikorodu allegedly abandoned his wife Ruth Uche when he found out she’s carrying the couple’s 3rd set of twins.

Lagos speaker Obasa visited Ruth Uche and her children at their residence #32 Awori Street in Agege yesterday where he donated food items to the family.

Obasa also told Ruth Uche to consult agencies that specialise in family planning in order to prevent unwanted babies.

On Friday, Lagos state approved a welfare package for Ruth and her children.

Poverty level in Nigeria is intolerable and it cuts across all tribes however some other pretender tribes behave as though they are insulated from it. Those that made the loudest noise when certain Igbo destitudes were repatriated by Governor Fashola should start to talk now that a different kind of self inflicted destitude is coming from one of their stocks. Its ironical a tribe will lack shame to an extent they arrogantly talk endlessly when virtually everything negative in Nigeria points in their direction. Nigerians are waiting with baited breath to hear from the large mouthed Igbo community in Lagos. The silence of the Igbo communities in Lagos and their home States’ Governors is too deafning to believe. In all matters that bothers on human survival and continued existence; propaganda and hypocricy has its dead end and, that is where Indigbo has reached with the issues of Ruth Uche.

This is insane. If he didn’t wanted to make babies, he should have opted for birth control methods. Vanishing is not a solution.

First, I want to thank Lagos state governor-Gov. Ambode, Lagos speaker and all other concern citizens for coming to the rescue of those lovely and innocent children of God. Those wonderful gifts from God are not to be left to suffer for no fault of their own. The story of this woman and her heartless husband touched my heart deeply. What manner of a man abandoned his wife and six children for any reason? My advice for this woman and other in her shoes is to practice safe sex in order to guide against unwanted pregnancies by bringing innocent children to our world to suffer without resources to take good care of them. Only God knows how many innocent Nigeria children are born yearly to this type of inhumane condition and poverty? The husband of this woman is a wicked being for abandoning this woman and her six beautiful children. Our leaders must govern must accountability, honor, and corruption free so that millions of our people can benefit from our young democracy. Thank so very much Gov. Ambode, speaker, and others Lagosians who came to the rescue of these wonderful children.
