3 people are now in police custody for allegedly forging the signature of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State.

The suspects, two women and a man, were said to be specialised in forging documents for people to gain employment into government establishments in the state.

A reliable source said that government officials were now forging the governor’s official letterheads as well as his signature which they use to get people employed into some of the parastatals in the state civil service.

A few days ago, reports emerged that fraudsters, suspected to be in the government circles, were now getting people employed into the state civil service using faked the governor’s letterhead and signature.

They’ve really acted without conscience and without thinking of the gravity of their actions and where it might lead them if they are caught. Now the reality has now show up itself. Let them face the music because that’s surely a criminal act.

Sometimes when you see the people behind certain crimes, you just wonder, Could this be true? And I am just thinking to myself, Is it that Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s signature is that simple to reproduce or what? I never heard a case like this in Sulivan Chime’s dispensation.

This is good as it’s withing their state, not international crime like Prof Alexia Thomas that’s now wanted in UK for a peanut money fraud she involved in, damaging our country name, letting innocent Nigerians like me face humiliation and embarrassment from white people in abroad here.
