March 29, 2016 – Pictures: Nigerian Drug Dealer Arrested As NDLEA Intercepts Heroine Inside Letter From India
Yunusa Amusan and Frank William, have been arrested for their alleged involvement in peddling drugs through the postal service. While Amusan (33) was arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for receiving heroin letter from his uncle in Bengaluru, India, William was picked up by India’s Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for his involvement in smuggling and peddling of cocaine in South Mumbai, India.
The letter, which was sent from Bengaluru, India, on Express Mail Service (EMS), was addressed to Amusan in Mushin, Lagos. According to the NDLEA, Amusan was grabbed by operatives when he came to collect the letter.
The agency spokesperson, Mitchell Ofoyeju, said: “Upon interception by the NDLEA, about 480 grammes of powdery substance that tested positive for heroin was found inside the letter.
The thin parcels of heroin were carefully hidden in the letter in a manner that made it difficult to detect. This is the first case of heroin letter discovered by the anti-narcotic agency this year.
”NDLEA said that Amusan connived with his uncle who lives in India to import heroin disguised as letters to Nigeria. But the suspect, a technician, denied knowledge of the content of the letter. He said:
“I run errands for my uncle who lives in India. He used to send money and letters to me to give to his wives and friends.
Sometimes, he will ask me to buy foodstuff and send to him in India and in return, he gives me money to take care and sustain myself. “The letter my uncle sent to me was opened in my presence and other officers and it was found to contain heroin.”
The guy who mailed the heroine from India has been arrested. Will bring you an update on this shortly.

It has been long he’s been doing that business and that’s why he’s caught. So don’t deny not knowing the content of the fake letter. When criminals are caught, they usually deny and claim its either their first time or not knowing what it is all about before they’re caught. Rubbish!
