Too bad that the youths are too angry that they can’t understand their king’s decision, that’s not wise of them to take law into their hands. Bravo Oba Akanbi. God bless you for that wisdom.

He did d right thing by calling d police, what were the youths expecting him to do, I mean why take her to him in d first place, he didn’t set her free but only asked for d police to do their investigation. Sometimes I don’t know how people reason. It is well Oba Akanbi, hope d youth come to their senses.

nice decision by the king but at the same time we can’t blame the youth since kidnapping as turned into a profession there is a need to stop those corrupt mind (kidnappers).

With the spate of kidnappings these days, everybody is angry and therefore not inclined to ascertain the genuineness of an allegation of kidnap before executing jungle justice. The monarch did the very right thing.

Is it a crime to hand over a suspect to the police? I blame them not, because they are not educated, even at that, they could have applied their sense.

Though many of this kidnappers are pretenders. Some may pretend as if they are mentally unstable in order to deceive the commuters. The monarch himself has not done wrong in handing her over to police. That is the highest he can do as a leader of the region. It is clearly annoying to question a suspect without he or she giving a meaningful and cogent explanation or reply. Perhaps that was what angered the mob before she was beating to stupor. Why nigerians are engaging in jungle justice is most likely how cases of kidnappings are been treated in the police stations. The police should try and be transparent in handling any case of kidnappings that has been brought by the community dwellers. The commuters too should also desist from taking laws into there hands as doing that will attract unintended charges against them by ‘law’ of the country.

I think any kidnapper/s caught should be made to say their last prayers. After that, send them to the lands of our silent fathers without delay.
