My friend that lives there said they use them for ritual.
Indonesia must offer 10000 prisoners every 5 years as ritual to their gods.
That is why they sacrifice them at the death valley and no other place else.
People should stop travelling to those places

this makes sense as they are so adamant in killing these people. It is only religion and religious beliefs that hardens peoples mind to such extent. like a wise man once said,”men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from a religious conviction”

I couldn’t hold back tears reading through this.where is human compassion?I hate planned killing it hurts more than hearing someone died from disaster , God have mercy on these creatures you created to reign on earth called human beings because they is no different between a human being and an animal .

this is worse than natural disaster cos it can be avoided. the bible says, “he shall have judgement without mercy that shows no mercy”. No government should plan a persons death because of a crime, that’s what prisons are for. Death is irreversible. If the person is found to be not guilty later on as in several cases, you cant bring them back.

Some of these countries that carry out such barbaric practices and inhumane way of treating their fellow men. When karma visits them with natural disasters, they expect the whole world to sympathize with them and send them aid. (I’m not implying that all natural disasters are caused by karma although it cud be as men are usually very cruel to their fellow men)

They committed crimes and judgement was passed on them. So what’s the fuss about?. When you said God will never forgive the country, are you saying God loves the crimes they committed in foreign land?

My dear, who in the actual sense of the word has not committed a crime. The Bible says for we are all sinners and have come short of the Glory of God. But for us to avoid destruction, He sent Jesus Christ to redeem us. I do not support this kind of punishment irrespective of the offense committed. These acts of killing undermines the importance of correctional facilities. An individual may be bad and crooked today, that doesn’t mean he cannot be a good person tomorrow. I am so saddened and angry at the same time. I think its high time all nations of the world reacted to this barbaric practices holding sway in these countries. Nigeria should pull out her diplomatic mission and every Nigerian should leave Indonesia as soon as possible. Our government should be prepared to settle these returnees. Other countries should follow suit. I do not support crime or drug trafficking but neither am i an extremist that doesn’t give a second chance to erring individuals.

Mister, your preaching does not make sense. Go to USA then and commit a crime and then quote them this Bible verse. Nonsense!

So if someone commits crime should not be punished because their “punishers” themselves are sinners?. Abeg, dont let Jesus hear this my friend.

Now, you shot yourself in the foot. Let me quote you here. You said

“I do not support this kind of punishment IRRESPECTIVE if the offense committed”.

Now, when a so called muslim terrorist did something unspeakable, you people scream “shot him in the head”, “dont let him make it to court kill him right their”. Many of you people make statements like these. Question is when you said irrespective of offense committed, i now ask you, does this include terrorists, murderer, as well?.

You better be reasonable for once. Worse punishments are in the Bible that you must follow. Jesus Christ did not abolish those Laws The Law stands.

Each country set their laws as deterrent. If you enforce your Law in Nigeria, politicians will stop looting you.

I dont understand how you people think. How about you enforce your Law in Nigeria on criminals and politicians and see how your country will be great tomorrow.

You people refused to talk about crimes they committed. Drugs is evil. It ruins life. Take US for instance, those drug dealers, abusers and users ruin their lives and others. They kill at will. If you want to blame this on Muslims, think twice. It’s their country. They enforce their law. Simple as that. Enforce law in your country as well.

Yes, I am sad reading this as well. But I am sure, despite this, you will see another Nigerians smuggling drugs into that country. Indonesia has the right to enforce it law as it deems fit. You must obey the law of the country you visit or live. Or else face the consequences.

Stop talking about muslim country is wicked. The fact that drug dealers keep smuggling into that country means they have no respect for the country’s law. So I am in support of the executions as long as they were guilty.

As for saying they use them for rituals, kindly spare me that nonsense. Thats straw argument. Do you have evidence to back it up or it’s just hearsay. Smuggling drugs into that country means these dealers want to pollute the country. They want to destroy their citizens’ lives.

Live in their country and respect their law. Or live in their country, violate their law and pay the price. Very simple. Isn’t?

Amanda, I think people like you shouldn’t be allowed to have a political position in any country, would this killing stop the drug trafficking, ok ask yourself why, despite all the execution that Indonesia had carried out, there is still drug trafficking, what happened to life imprisonment, 30years imprisonment, etc.
It’s totally absurd, As humans we should all see that such means of punishment are totally eradicated.

        April 29, 2015 at 9:50 PM

Please stick your human rights ******* to yourself. They committed CRIME. Is that difficult for you to understand?.

Touch crimes, touch measures. If I were your president in Nigeria, I am telling you, i wont tolerate looting nonsense. Looters’hands will severed. But since Nigerians themselves are not ready for tough law, they will continue to take you for a ride. Big ride.

my humble submission is that the laws of any nation should be carefully studied by any sojourner.if a country executes drug dealers then why pity anyone caught doing So? So long as the judicial system of that country allows suspects to defend themselves and exhaust all avenues and such a person is found 100percent guilty then the law should take its full course

    Aniky says:
Instead of excecuting these people the goverment can use a more inteligent purnishment, by making them pay a heavy fine, say 20 million dollars each and use the money to help the poor and the needy or for a more notable projects in the country.
Please Amanda, don’t compare a terorist with a drug smuggler. If a drug dealler in the course of drug dealig kill someone, then let or her go for it, but a terorist delibrately go kill innocent children, pregnant women, elderly men and women with thier bombs, they deserve death penanty for taking innocent lives.
