Poland Releases 13 Detained Nigerians, Keeps 6 Others In Detention Camps

Due to the intervention of the Nigerian government, Poland has finally released 13 among the 19 Nigerians who fled the Ukrainian war and were detained at various detention camps in the country.

6 of the detainees who are still kept in detention reportedly applied for asylum in Poland.

One of the 6 detainees reportedly claimed to be a Cameroonian because his mother is from Cameroon.

He reportedly rejected the intervention of the Nigerian government.

Over 1600 Nigerian refugees were brought back home few weeks ago due to the timely intervention of the Nigerian government.
