A father from hell who reportedly brutalised his 8-year-old son in Dopemu area of Lagos State has been arrested.
The suspect, Adeyemi Adekunle reported his son to police over the weekend after he fled home over constant beating.
On Monday, the boy whose mother had reportedly separated from his father was seen wandering in the area.
We gathered that the boy was taken back home only for him and his 4 other siblings to be locked up in a room by their father who had remarried after breaking up with their mother.
Few hours later, he took out the 8-year-old boy who fled from home, allegedly beat him up and broke his two arms. Out of anger, he later descended on the 4 other children from his ex-wife and beat them mercilessly.
The suspect’s landlord who heard the cry of the innocent children reported the matter to police.
Adekunle was immediately arrested when police stormed his home and discovered the barbaric manner in which he beat up the five children.
His case had been transferred to the gender unit of the state command in Ikeja for further investigation.
