Nov 8, 2016 – Police Arrest Father Who Brutalised Son Who Fled From Home In Dopemu Lagos

A father from hell who reportedly brutalised his 8-year-old son in Dopemu area of Lagos State has been arrested.

The suspect, Adeyemi Adekunle reported his son to police over the weekend after he fled home over constant beating.

On Monday, the boy whose mother had reportedly separated from his father was seen wandering in the area.

We gathered that the boy was taken back home only for him and his 4 other siblings to be locked up in a room by their father who had remarried after breaking up with their mother.

Few hours later, he took out the 8-year-old boy who fled from home, allegedly beat him up and broke his two arms. Out of anger, he later descended on the 4 other children from his ex-wife and beat them mercilessly.

The suspect’s landlord who heard the cry of the innocent children reported the matter to police.

Adekunle was immediately arrested when police stormed his home and discovered the barbaric manner in which he beat up the five children.

His case had been transferred to the gender unit of the state command in Ikeja for further investigation.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos who confirmed the arrest of the suspect said:

  1. Africa men always want to keep their children to themselves alone when they divorce .but they will latter turn the children to slaves when they marry another Wife.

  2. WICKEDNESS! THIS MAN IS actually from hell, for it is only a man who had done his intern in hell that can be this wicked. Or is he under some spell by the second wife? Just a thought.

WITH THE RATE THAT CHILD ABUSE IS reported these days, I fear that very soon Nigeria would be like the civilized world where parents dare not use the rod to lovingly correct their children, even within the measure that the children could bear, or risk being arrested. I believe so much in corporal discipline. It was used on me and I did not die because it was done with love. But these evil parents everywhere today have perverted what is an age old good and might consequently compel our government to completely adopt the western style and outlaw every form of corporal discipline.

    • I am sure your parent chastised you lovingly. they did not break your arm did they? I believe the economic situation in Nigeria has frustrated so many people that the have no gone mad! do not take out your frustrations on these poor innocent children . Your problem is not their fault. What makes people this brutal and aggressive towards children is beyond me.

  3. Wickedness, just wondering if he could treats his kids like this he will definitely kill others. Rot in jail!

  4. Transferred aggression ! The man is definitely begrudging the innocent children the need to cater for them while their Mama walks free. He has forgotten that being together was an option he contributed in letting go when he and their mom separated.
I hope the mother is capable of taking care of them because I do not think Government care is an option to be considered . It will further traumatize the kids. Indeed it is fear of losing the link with their own families ……. Even when the families are imperfect, that makes abused children hide the fact of such abuse from “outsiders” who might help them out.
This is therefore a dicey situation and options should be weighed carefully before deciding what is best for these kids.
