The officials of Lagos State Police Command have launched an aggressive manhunt for the Ijaw militants who killed over 50 residents of Ikorodu Lagos last week.
The gunmen alleged to be from the Niger Delta region were said to have entered the community through waterways before unleashing mayhem on the innocent residents of Ikorodu on three several occasions.
The death toll of Ikorodu Lagos attacks is now over 50 as some injured residents are still clinging to life at various hospitals in the state.
Lagos Police CP Owoseni said the force had stationed anti robbery police officials at strategic points where the militants entered the city last week.
This is what Owoseni told pressmen in Lagos yesterday.
“What people must know is that this is not an investigation or operation that you can just say one plus one. The guys are taking advantage of the creeks. They hit and run to the creeks and also use the wee hours in the night to carry out that operation. Anywhere in the world, the military and police hardly operate in the night and so they have been taking advantage of that and that is why we have now in place a permanent standby points in all the four areas that we have identified as where they are coming from,”.
Owoseni added that arrests that could lead police into the hideout of the militants have been made.
He promises to find a permanent solution to the impunity being carried out by the pipeline vandals turned militants.

So the military and the police in Nigeria are just for “DAY TIME SECURITY AGENCY” to the poor citizens of this country while all of you the big bosses have many security officers guiding you at all times almost going to the toilet with you so that no one hurt OGA! right? ?

Nigeria is a multi cultural country like Britain but Nigeria’s law is absolutely lawless, we knew all this nuisance and unwanted elements in the society why can’t we get rid of this barbaric animals in the society, round them up and give them public execution without delay if this is not done with immediate effect more unlawful killings will take place. But one thing that I know if any of those killed are related to oga on top by now they might have done something about it but remember God is watching you all.

What do u mean by sayg law enforcement agents do not work at night, maybe only in africa, bcos in most parts of the world that I av been to, police work day and night, somethg like this could not av happened that they would not av despatched the police, special squad team and if need be d army.
so what is he talkg about, pls just make sure these animals are caught and sentenced to death.

This man is talkg as if he had never travelled out of dis country before,even if not so, at least he can hear news from other countries.
Law enforcement agents work day and night 24/7, its only in nigeria u will hear such nonsense especially when they av nothing to say.
How can some group just start to kill people in a community without any intervention and nothing will be done about it until it gets out of hand
Just make sure these animals are arrested and sentenced to death.
