Real Madrid Football Academy Under Construction In Port Harcourt Rivers States
The Governor of Rivers state has approved the construction of Real Madrid Football Academy in his state.
The football school is currently under construction at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt.
As at the time of this report, it is at 40% completion phase.
The project flagged off by ACF President Ahmed Ahmed is expected to be completed in December 2018.
Governor Nyesom Wike said the facility will empower Nigerian youths to become international football stars.
The project was initiated by the governor.
The downside to the academy is that those from low-income families will not be able to afford it as the training fee costs N5million per year.

lets keep it real here..not even low income families can afford it…this project is just for the children of the Nigerian politicians and some oil billionaire that are connected to the politicians in one way or the other..they can afford it, hoping their children play football overseas to make more money to add to the one they stole from their various government offices..
