Nov 17, 2015 – Samson Siasia’s Mother Kidnapped At Odoni In Bayelsa State
In the wee hours of today, 3 gunmen on a motorbike stormed the family house of Samson Siasia.
The suspected kidnappers took an elderly woman identified as 72-year-old Ogere Siasia from her residence in Odoni area of Sagama LGA of Bayelsa state.
The gunmen who escaped on a motorbike shot sporadically into the air to scare residents away.
As at the time of this report, they are yet to contact the family.
Meanwhile, the head coach of Nigeria’s U-23 football team has begged the kidnappers to release his mum so he can concentrate on the task at hand.
In his words:
“What do they expect from me? I don’t have money, I am right now on national duty, and need all the time to concentrate on this very important national task. So, I beg them to please release my mother so that I can concentrate on this task of qualifying the U-23 National Team for the men’s football event of the Rio Olympics.”
Eyah!!!! Poor Siasia, may God protect the innocent woman.

Those who removed the death penalty from the law books of Nigeria are the cause of all the vices being committed in this country. Penalty for acts like armed robbery, kidnapping, murder one, embezzlement of public funds by either politicians or ordinary citizens should be the death penalty.
