Doctors In Brazil Use Tilapia Fish Skin To Construct New Vagina For Woman Born Without Vagina
A medical breakthrough has been made in Brazil.
A woman born without Vagina is now enjoying a healthy sex life after doctors at the Federal University of Ceara used sterilized Tilapa fish skin to construct a new vagina canal for her.
The operation conducted in April of 2017 was a success as the patient, 23-year-old Jucilee Marinho has been living a normal life since then.
Although the surgery was done last year, she only confirmed it with FocusOn News recently. She said the ground-breaking procedure has changed her life.
Marinho is suffering from a rare condition called Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) which occurs in 1 out of 5000 newborn girls.
