Oct 9, 2012 – UNIPORT Students Set Aluu Village On Fire, School Shuts Down Indefinitely
In a revenge mission for the brutal murder of their fellow students, great UNIPORT students in conjunction with other Nigerian students have set the village of Aluu (Omuokiri Aluu) on fire. naijagists.com
Today over 12 different houses were burnt down in Aluu village.
Battalion of angry Nigerian students who joined force with GREAT UNIPORT students under the umbrella of National Association of Nigerian Student (NANS) put road blocks in major roads across Port Harcourt to prevent Aluu villagers from escaping.
Before the students got to Aluu, all the inhabitants of Omuokiri Aluu village have took to their heels.
According to a TV report, the village of Aluu in Port-Harcourt is now a deserted place.
UNIPORT spokesperson said the school has been closed down until further notice.
So these animals fear for their own lives too?

I cldn’t stop crying after watching the video yesterday, worst thing is we don’t even know what those boys REALLY did to deserve this. Are they really thieves? Are the cultist as some claim? But what shocked me most is that the boys were not even protesting all along, why were they soo calm? Why not beg, cry , anything. Mayb they were too exhausted, mayb they had done so but nobody listened especially when a mob is involved. This is soo brutal, too much for my poor heart.
Some years back while in the university, a thief was caught in my mini cite and he was beaten to death by students. It was around 2am when while rodding around and looking for an opportunity to rob, this guy and the cousin came by our mini cite(hostel)and saw one window open. The occupants, my neighbours were 2heavy guys who had their share of alcohol tt nite and decided to sleep wt their windows open as places were too hot.So these 2 night mongers decided to open the door through the open window and got in. As they were busy collecting items, one of the students got up, screamed and the thieves ran off. This half drunken student, at 2a.m ran after these two guys while screaming, nobody came out until after about 10mins when he had apprehended one of the thieves. We were all shocked to see him draging this tall, average weight guy along as he came back to the mini cite. Students came out in their numbers and gave this guy a beating of the century. It also happened tt this my neighbour had issues wt one of his friends, and in the mist of all this confusion, he asked the thief if he was send by this friend of his and the thief reluctantly said yes. The other student, confused and almost in tears was dragged from his room and brought to the scene,other students were ready to beat this innocent boy to death, when asked again the thief said, no, he doesn’t know this boy. That’s when the ones before accused student broke down in tears and left shaking. Yes he was one lucky dude who wld ve died innocently.
By morning the thief was death and believe u me, every body went inside his/her room and prayed for forgivness.
NB:the thief was an ex convict, yet everybody felt bad after
Since then i prayed never to b part of a mob action, cos even standing by incriminates u somehow.
Rest in peace my brothers, such brutality, what a frightfull and horrible way to die. I’m still shaking
