A new movie from the stable of Kunle Afolayan’s production is set to hit the cinemas.

The movie titled Omugwo is the story of a young female engineer married to an OAP.

When she gave birth, her mother and her husband’s mother moved in with them to forcefully perform Igbo child care rite called Omugwo.

Instead of receiving comfort because of the presence of the mothers-in-law, all she experienced was rivalry which led to complication due to different cultural backgrounds.
