Wuraola Ogunwusi Begs For Donation For Her Orphanages As She Takes Over Ooni’s IG Pages
August 29, 2017 – Olori Wuraola Ogunwusi Takes Over Ooni Of Ife Oba Ogunwusi’ Instagram Pages, Begs For Donation For Her Orphanages
The former Queen of Ile Ife Wuraola Ogunwusi might have been sent packing from the palace, but she is still the one representing the Royal House on Instagram.
A palace source told NG last night that the two Instagram pages belonging to the Ooni of Ife (@oonirisa & Ooniadimulaife) are being managed by Wuraola.
Her official IG page @wuraolaogunwusi is still being managed by her people.
She wrote her first post-marriage crash post on Instagram over the weekend when she shared photo of herself with survivors of Sierria Leone mudslides.
She also used the opportunity to beg for donation for her orphanages.
The source said all the Instagram pages with Ooni Of Ife’s name were opened by Wuraola Ogunwusi.
Even the birthday message allegedly posted by the Ooni few months ago were created by her as the palace source said the Ooni is too busy to be spending his time creating post on the social media.

Itohan, “hospice” is a place where people who are terminal or about to expire stay until their last breath. Adding it to the name of an orphanage is bad news. Change the name or remove hospice from the name. You hear? If you don’t know, ask.

What she is doing is not desperate but laudable. She is healing in a good way,
as she is helping others and she has beaten her husband to it because doing something altruistic like this would have removed our minds from the recent taint and made us see him as engaging in humane ventures. Well done, Sonia.

It’s a humanitarian act to be charitable. Even the Bible says “blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy”. I just wished these women have put in more time and dedication to those charities whilst in the limelight, rather than when their personal woes began (the same goes for Mercy Aigbe). Please, fellow Nigerians, let us put our personal opinions and criticisms of those women aside and focus on helping the needy and less fortunate in society. They didn’t have a say or control over the way they were born or circumstances of their lives. God is a rewarder of everything we do and He who sees even in secret will open doors for our children. My life is a testimony to that. I am not rich today but my children are breaking grounds nobody in our families never achieved, making me relevant to those that looked down on me before. I will rather be a door keeper in the house of the Lord than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
