Family Insider Reveals What Killed Yewande Baruwa

The family of former beauty queen Yewanda Baruwa aka Wendy is bereaved.

The final year student of Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile Ife has passed away.

According to friends, the beautiful lady complained of minor skin rash on Thursday morning but before the end of the day, the minor rash has developed into a more serious but rare infection called Purpura Fulminans.

It manifested as blood clot under the skin that looks like minor bruises until it developed into major organ failures.

Yewande who was the winner of Miss Charismatic Nigeria back in 2013 died of the rare infection in the early hours of Friday.

Due to the severity of her condition, her family said she only died after brief illness.

A source said plan is underway to carry out a secret burial for her.
