A woman from Asaba has been confirmed as the first Lassa fever virus case in Delta State.
According to Health Ministry Spokesman, Oyewo Churchill, 22 people who had contact with the unidentified 65-year-old woman have been placed in isolation at St Joseph’s Hospital in Asaba.
