2 School Boys Drown On Nguru Lake In Yobe State

August 18, 2016 – Fishermen Recover Corpses Of Schoolboys From Nguru Lake In Yobe

Yobe State NSCDC Commandant, Dr Muhammad Fari, said fishermen recovered corpses of two boys from Nguru Lake in Yobe yesterday.

Muhammad told reporters in Damaturu today that the boys likely to be between the ages of 13 and 14 years might have gone to the river for fishing before they drowned.

An autopsy is currently ongoing to determine the cause of their death.

Muhammad also urged parents and guardians to monitor the movement of kids as the rain intensifies in the area.
