December 23, 2016 – 3 Women Kidnapped Inside Bus Owned By God Is Good Motors In Kogi State, Kidnappers Demand N5Million Ransom
3 women were yesterday evening kidnapped inside a bus owned by God is Good Motors.
The bus heading to Abuja was ambushed around 6:30pm at Abagi in Kogi State on Thursday the 22nd of December 2016.
A graduate of University of Uyo Naomi Obot and two other unidentified women were kidnapped after the armed bandits robbed other passengers in the vehicle.
The family of Miss Naomi Obot received a call from the kidnappers today. They demanded for N5million ransom to free her.

So people cannot travel without the additional anxiety of whether or not they are safe from kidnappers ? This new attack is horrifying because the general perception used to be that people who travel by public transport are not in a position to travel using more private and presumably more comfortable mode of transportation .
This new facet to hoodlums’s wickedness calls for drastic punishment indeed. So what is delaying the recommended stiffer punishment for kidnapping from being implemented?
