A fatal boat accident that happened yesterday claimed the lives of 16 residents of Kebbi state.
The boat carrying 50 passengers heading to the market capsized in Zamare area of Yauri with several passengers missing.
Local divers managed to rescue 16 while 17 people survived the tragic boat accident.
17 Others are still missing as at the time of this report.
