Naijan.com was the first to break the news of Mr Akolade Arowolo, a Lagos-based man who stabbed his bankers wife, Titilayo Arowolo to death on the 24th of June, 2011 at their Isolo residence.
The 30 year old man,was, on Wednesday Dec 21,2011, arraigned before an Ikeja High Court in Lagos on a one-count charge of murder.
Olabisi Ogungbesan, the Director of DPP alleged that Arowolo committed the offence, which is contrary to Section 319(1) of the Criminal Code Law Cap 17. Vol 2, Laws of Lagos State 2003.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded in prison custody. Justice Lateefat Okunnu adjourned the case to January 13 for trial.
