Aiye Cult Member, Yahoo Boy Who Attempted To Kill Mother For Yahoo Plus Ritual In Lagos Arrested
A young man identified as Taiwo Akinola has been arrested after his left his mother half-dead in his desperate bid to use her for money ritual.
29-year-old Akinola, a suspected member of the dreaded Aiye cult attacked his mother on Sunday around 8:30am after luring her from her provision store in front of their house into her room.
He allegedly sent her grandson, on an errand in order to enable him to carry out the attack.
The incident which happened at 2 Raji Ajanaku street in Ayobo area of Lagos sent fear down the spine of residents.
Here is what Lagos Police spokesperson, Chike Oti said about the attack:
“In a carefully thought out plan to kill his mother, Taiwo, said to be a staunch member of the notorious Aiye Confraternity, went to the victim’s provision store in front of their apartment. There, he told his mother to meet him inside the house for an important discussion.
“At the same time, he sent his nephew, Faruk, to go and buy him white handkerchief and a stick of cigarette.
“But as soon as his mother entered the house, the suspect attacked her, smashing a plank on her head with, pressing iron and a UPS charger to ensure she did not survive the ferocious attack.
“When Faruk returned, he did not see his grandmother in the shop so he went into the house only to see the poor woman lying in a pool of blood.
“Shocked by what he saw, the boy raised the alarm which attracted neighbours to the scene. They called the police from Ayobo Division, who arrested the suspect.
“They also secured the scene for further investigation by the police forensic experts attached to the Homicide Section at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba.”
According to him, the Commissioner of Police (CP) Imohimi Edgal, paid the initial hospital bill before doctors could attend to her.
Oti alleged that the suspect had confessed that he was asked to kill his mother to advance his cyber fraud business (yahoo business) to the bloody or ritual level (yahoo plus).
“When his room was searched, the following exhibits were recovered – two calabashes with one containing human skull and the other, a mixture of dark concoction, a plank perforated with nails and stained with blood; a pressing iron stained with blood; a white handkerchief with which he wanted to scoop the victim’s blood and a bottle containing oil and labelled Back To Sender,” he said.

This idiot and his kinds need to understand that it doesn’t work this way, these native doctors who are sending the children on errand of no return need to be arrested also, but the politicians are using them…no remedy in Nigeria.

The way young people have brainwashed themselves into doing these evil acts is unbelievable. If he could do this to his own mother, then the girls are in trouble! Young ladies beware of rich guys whose office you have never seen and whose colleagues you dont know. Never allow long throat or blind love kill you!

What is going on in this Country now? oh my God! Spilling your mother blood because of quick money. In order for this nation to remain sane because what is happening right now is madness. I think that foolish boy must be compelled to mention the name of Babalawo or Native Doctor who sent him such lethal errand. The law enforcement officer should go right away to arrest that deadly Juju man. If nothing is done about this case, if they collect money from this guy and release him, trust me, people should expect something more calamitous like this to happen, hopefully not. Drastic action needs drastic measure.
One bad thing about we black race is our inaction to control situation whenever tragic incidence like this happens. That Juju man should be in police net by now but he is not because he is working for those politicians and they need him for upcoming election, the next thing you will hear is , they lie against him. “Won puro mo ni” It seems we know the right thing to do but we love to tell story. My own take about this issue is, if the government cannot ensure us justice, we might as well go by jungle justice.
