Photos: Fuel Tanker Explosion Kills 6 In Akure Ondo Tonight

At least 6 citizens died today when a petrol tanker lost control while trying to avoid hitting a Toyota car and went up in flames.
The inferno reportedly trapped several driving on the other side of the Ilesa/Owo Federal Highway in Akure Ondo state tonight.
Although the exact death toll is yet to be established, we learnt that the 6 occupants of a Toyota car that hit the tanker were burnt into ashes.
Those who witnessed the accident blamed the impatient tanker driver for the tragedy.
The explosion reportedly happened tonight at Shagari Village junction along the Ilesa/ Owo Federal Highway in Akure Ondo state.

something needs to be done urgently to avert this regular tanker fire and container roll overs..VIO and road safety commission are fed agencies ,let them rise and hold this culprits accountable.
