Meet Anthony Joshua Next Opponent Andy Ruiz..Fight Date & Location Released!!
Heavyweight Champ Anthony Joshua is set to face a new opponent after the disqualification of Jarrell Miller over failed drug tests. Come June 1st 2019, Joshua will fight American boxer Andy Ruiz Jr in New York .
29-year-old Ruiz was born in California.
According to his promoter, he will do anything to dethrone Anthony Joshua come June 1st.
At 6ft 2in, he is four inches shorter than Joshua and will be at a substantial reach disadvantage.
In his only world title shot to date, Ruiz lost on points to New Zealand’s Joseph Parker, whom Joshua outpointed 15 months later to unify the WBA, IBF and WBO world titles.
Ruiz has agreed to terms, leaving only small details to be finalised.
