As we are all aware that domestic abuse has become the number one reason for divorce among Nigerian celebrities today.
Domestic violence in relationships is gradually becoming the norm in today’s societal marriage.
It’s no news that Nollywood actress Chika Ike has divorced her husband, Mr Tony Ebirebi on the ground of domestic violence.
The actress recently released a lengthy story on how the whole thing happened and how she lost her pregnancy and the day she escaped death in the hand of her abusive husband. Read the story here.
The story has reached the hearing of Mr Tony Ebirebi who is now happily married to another woman.
It seems the divorce rumour didn’t go well with him and he reportedly warned her to stop posting rubbish story about him on social media.
According to a source, Tony Ebirebi warned the actress to stop pointing accusing finger at him as the only cause of their marriage breakdown.
Chika Ike in her response allegedly said “What do you mean! Don’t you know I am a star?”
The crux of the matter comes down to whether Chika was abused or not. If she was, doesn’t she therefore have the right to speak about it?
Mr Anthony Oghenevwogaga Ebireri was the Chief Operation Manager of Dakento Limited, the Producers of Matador Energy drinks then.
Chika Ike allegedly left him when he suffered financial misfortune.
“It seems Chika Ike could no longer endure financial hardship, that’s why she left him” – said a source
Another source said the actress in a bid to leave him provoked the hell out of him.
As we speak, Chika Ike is back in the romance market shopping for the best guy that will make her happy.
She recently embarked on a vacation trip to the United States of America to further celebrate her divorce success.

Mrs Ohio, why would you say a thing like that? Did that man look like a troublesome man? Marriage is not a prison, we know but how many times did Chike Ike complained of the Husband beating her? at least the police are there.. and what evidence do we have to prove that, like scars on her body.. From all the indications, Chika Ike has made up her mind to leave the marriage and as such she decide to fabricate a sweet story to free from blame. Nowadays, African women are turning to something else because they want to be doing like white women marriage.. its devilish, Africa should respect themselves because imitation is not taking us to nowhere instead destroy our reputation as an Africa.. When Chika Ike was nothing, the husband is the best thing that has ever happen to her, now that she is a celebrity and acquire little cash.. She went for divorce because she is eying one of her fans.. it is now she realized that the husband is not good enough for her.. Wonder Shall never End

if really he abused chika Domestically ,why is he married peacefully to another woman. Actresses or Actors have one common character in them, lack of patience and respect for their partner simply because they r stars. Chika was never ready for marriage, she wanted just the wedding and feast on the man’s wealth. I am even surprised to find out that she was married to an urhobo man meanwhile she is an Ibo. Sometimes there r more to all that was said to the public. Chika has her eyes on the big things right from day one.

Everywoman has the right to be happy so is Chika. Therefore if really her hobby treated her badly, as in, domestically abused her, he has every right to do away with the marriage since she has the opportunity. This is bcos some women who are abused by their husbands will grab this opportunity of divorcing their hubby. I pray that all the ladies that blast Chika Ike shuld face the same fate and know how Chika feels,especially Jumbo. For her husband, he is really Africanlike, I mean beast
