He was born in Idumota to the family of Mr & Mrs Abass Makinde who hails from Ikija area of Abeokuta on the 31st of May 1969.
Tokunbo Makinde is the last born of a family of six.
The actor graduated from Dolphin High School before joining a drama club to while away his time.
It is from there that the 49-year-old actor discovered his acting talent.
