Enugu Catholic Church Bomb Explosion: Police Declare Suspects Wanted As Bomb Exploded At Holy Cross Catholic Parish In Iji Nike Enugu East Minutes Before Early Morning Mass

Chaos took over the entire Enugu East LGA of Enugu yesterday after a bomb exploded at Holy Cross Catholic Church at Iji Nike.

According to the Parish Priest, Reverend Emmanuel Okwor, the bomb went off around 5:40am just as the worshippers were getting ready for the 6am mass.

Although police described the explosion as minor, Catholic faithfuls didn’t find it funny as many could have died  yesterday if not for divine intervention.

The State Police Spokesperson,  Ebere Amaraizu said police had launched an investigation into the incident the force described as minor.
