The controversy started when Betty Abera, The Chase BBA Housemate who represented Ethiopia participated in a public sex with Bolt, a fellow house mate from Sierria Leone 3 days after entering Big Brother Africa house.
According to a report from Thiopikalnk, a local radio station in Ethiopia, if Betty Abera is found guilty, she could spend up to 6 years in jail.
It’s a serious offence to participate in public sex in Ethiopia.
Not only is Betty facing eviction from Big Brother house, she will be a subject of worldwide condemnation except an international organization come to her rescue.
A campaign is ongoing in Ethiopia for her boycott.

First of all, she didn’t commit that crime in Ethiopia, she was in SA when it happened. Secondly, she is an adult and made a choice to open herself to ridicule. Thirdly, she was probably acting, most of those people in the BBA house are not real anyway. And lastly, I do not condone her behavior, I don’t watch the show anyway, but I believe it is rated over 18, therefore, she did not do what most adults would not do. The BBA show is very corrupt morally and this girl is no the first to indulge in sex and really, I believe it is her right. You are not happy with her behavior, don’t watch her, don’t watch the show. He who is sinless should not cast the first stone.

What can one say to Obama coming to Africa to evangelize same-sex relationship; he had forgotten we are cultured here in Africa. Anyway, this is a shameful act for this lady. Big broda africa did not have them to go mess around. It’s a show met to entertain the viewers. Most of the plays they do that involved sleeping with each other, bathing on live camera that are done by other bba mates in the previous re not real but drama act. Like most sins u watch on movies. But unfortunately betty and this guy were cut doin it for real, may be because of the urge they had, and it’s against the rules of the game. So she is been punished by eviction so why blaming bba.
