Kogi State Governor who was involved in a tragic convoy accident at Lokoja-Ajaokuta road today has suffered a broken leg in the disaster. naijagists.com
Captain Governor Idris Wada has lost one of his legs in the fatal crash that killed his ADC on Friday.
The governor was immediately rushed to Lokoja Specialist Hospital where doctors admit he has suffered a fractured femur.
He has therefore been airlifted to Abuja Specialist hospital’s intensive care ward for emergency treatment.
According to the doctors, Kogi State Governor Wada is currently in a treatable condition since he didn’t suffer spinal cord or any head related injury in the crash.
A source who said Governor Idris Wada is currently battling severe pain confirmed he has been transferred to the aforementioned hospital in Abuja with a private helicopter arranged by Kogi State Government.
The fatal accident killed one of his aides and left 2 other individuals badly injured.
