June 21, 2016 – 2 Men Arrested In Kaduna For Allegedly Raping 6-Year-Old Girl Beg For Forgiveness
Kaduna State Police Command has arrested 2 men who allegedly raped a minor on the 13th of June 2016.
The suspects identified as 67-year-old Yahaya Umar and 30-year-old Muhammed Auwal were arrested after a passerby reported them to the police for allegedly raping a six-year-old girl at Soba street in Tudun Wada area of Kaduna.
Here is what the mother of the victim, Hindatu Mohammed told reporters yesterday:
“After my six years old daughter returned from school, I sent her to buy detergent for me, but she didn’t return early as expected.
“And I was worried and one boy came to my house to inform me that my daughter has been raped and taken to the hospital.“The police personnel later returned and confirmed that rape actually took place and I was asked to pay N500 for fuel, which I did.
“I am so afraid that she might be infected with HIV and AIDS and I was told that after the doctors investigation that it was discovered that she had been raped earlier by another person.
“And it was our neighbour Muhammed Auwal that my daughter identified and the police had already arrested him, they are both in police custody’’“We are only using natural herbs to heal her from injuries inflicted on her.
“I am calling on the security agencies to give my daughter justice because people are calling and asking me to forgive them.’’
Kaduna police spokesman Abubakar Zubairu said the suspects would soon be charged to court.

Forgive them for what, they need to be castrated immediately, I am sure dis is not their first time, and we cannot afford to av such people in d society, enough is enough abeg.
But madam what I don’t understand is dat is it d same day dis two men raped her, if not then u must av been careless with her for men to just be taking advantage of her like dat, its quite painful dat we are now living in a world were children cannot walk freely in d neighborhood without them not been defiled. Always take care of ur children, watch over them like a hawk.

If you forgive these shameless rams, I will personally come over to KD and have you arrested. I am familiar with KD very well so I can trace you.
I spent good 8yrs of my life in KD as it is porpularly called. I did my primary school Education there in Army Children School, 33 Air Defence Artilary Brigade (ACS) Kakuri Kaduna.
Don‘t mind all those calling and asking you to forgive them. Ask them, if the victim were their daughter, sister or niece would they have forgiven those violators that easy?
They must face the repercussions of their longer throat and stupidity.
First of all, ensure your daughter is any STDs-free first, cos thats the most important thing at the moment. Thank God they did not kidnap or kill her.
