Nollywood Actor Slams Tonto Dikeh, Says Born Again Christians Don’t Do Plastic Surgery To Beautify Themselves

Tonto Dikeh’s  #1 internet troll and Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has come after her.

Uche who has volunteered to troll Tonto at any given opportunity after she rejected his arm of friendship when her marriage crashed took to the social media today to sing of the virtues of actress Mercy Johnson, praising her especially for loving her God given body as not altering it with the surgical knife like ‘some actress’.

According to Uche, Mercy is the ‘Real’ born again and not those actress who bare the title by name and would still alter their bodies.

Although Uche didn’t mention any name, but it is evident to all that Tonto Dikeh is the only self-proclaimed Nollywood born again who recently did plastic surgery.

This brings us to the question of the day.

Is plastic/cosmetic surgery or any form of body modification a sin?

  1. God is against any form of body modification.
    Leviticus 19 Verse 28 states:

“Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.”

  2. I PERSONALLY CANNOT boldly say whether or not it is a sinful act to surgically improve ones looks. Somehow I think this is another of the many aspects of human life without “much” moral significance, but which Christians will continue to argue about. There is a sect that believes that blood transfusion is sinful, and this ideology is equally backed up by the Old Testament scripture. Some Christians are even against making up in its entirety. So, what do we say here? You cannot say that cosmetic surgery is sin whereas you uphold blood transfusion.

I WOULD advice Christians to endeavor to grasp the Spirit behind each written word of the scripture before they use it for/against anybody. Remember that the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life. Most times, all that we know is the letter.

  3. This includes those who change their sex; man becomes woman and woman becomes man. By this you are telling God he made a mistake creating you man or woman. Plastic surgery comes with its own risk so those who indulge in it should make sure they are not short of no st at anytime because it requires constant tune up.

  4. I meant those who indulge in it should make sure they are not short of money as it requires constant tune up.
