Kaduna Governor El Rufai Closed Down 2 Assemblies Of God Churches, Seminary, Christian Hospital & School
Sept 17, 2015 – Kaduna Governor El Rufai Closed Down 2 Assemblies Of God Churches, 1 Seminary & A Christian Hospital & School
Few months after he ordered Zaria pulled down, the controversial governor of Kaduna state has ordered the immediate closure of two churches, a seminary and a Christian hospital.
The affected worship centers includes Theological Seminary of Northern Nigeria, (TSNN) Saminaka, Shalom Comprehensive College, Saminaka, Assemblies of God Church, Nmbare, Saminaka and Assemblies of God Church (Jerusalem) Saminaka, AGC Evangelist Hospital, Saminaka.
El Rufai said he ordered the closure due to leadership crisis in the affected worship centers.
Is leadership crisis a valid excuse to close down churches in the area?

WHO CAN BATEL WITH THE LORD? The LORD say open this ROCK i will build my CHURCH & the gate of hell shall not prevail, so the Governor dosn’t have the right to order for the closure of AG CHURCHS\SCHOOLS& HOSPITAL b\cus dat is nt a political crisess, that doesnt have anything doing with him, even when that consiperience started when the ANTI-AG leader seek for the CURT-in-Enugu to order for the closed down of AG Church,Schools, Business, and other achtivities but CURT say NO, but why is the governor of kaduna closing AG operation in kaduna? & giving reason b\cus of AG leaders crisess, is unfair, & i think that should’nt be the reason. So he should quickly order for the re-open of AG activities in the state be\4 the WRATH OF GOD will come on him. Human being is too small to STOP GOD MOVE. I plead for the General Coucil of AG to do something that is the devil suphesticating in another diamension, & real Christian in kaduna should nt just but praying the more, this is the time for them to prove their faith more.

Conflict in the church is not a political issue,so I see this as none of El Rufai’s business, this is spiritual matters so let the church handle it themselves.

The Governor has no right to close down the churches since they’re not causing problem in Kaduna but were only having leadership crisis which will soon be over, why didn’t him close down all the mosque in Kaduna bcos Boko Haram are killing people in North East, Let people that love him go and warn him to desist from blackmailing christians so that the wrath of God will not be upon him. NO ONE CAN BATTLE WITH THE LORD.

I know Christian will not find reason for his action but put sentiment all the way.when the man closed down some mosques some weeks back because of location and noise pollution there was no reaction from Christian. The only Christians that can comment here are those from Kaduna not the Political Christian from down south. Jesus is Lord anytime anyday and no one can do anything about it. When Christians now fight dirty among themselves because of position then let us ask ourselves which God are they serving. They are the one that disgrace God first before the secular government. may God have mercy. Jesus is Lord.

The fact that this institution have problems is not an excuse for the Governor to intervene, why should you be intervening in institution the government did not establish in the first instance.

If this report about Kaduna state governor closure of churches, Christian hospitals, and Christian school is true, then President Muhammad Buhari, civil rights advocates, and all religious group in Nigeria must call Gov. El RUfai to order and sanity. Why? The state government can only intervenes in religious matter only if criminal activities and citizens safety are issues, but it is not any government responsibility both at federal and state to mingle into leadership affairs of any religion sanctuaries be it mosque or church. This is called separation of state and religious. Gov. El Rufai should avoid giving ammunition to criminal minded people that want to tag PMB administration as anti Christian. There are thousands of problems to be solved or address in Kaduna state by Gov. El Rufai rather than starting religion controversy that we don’t really need at this point in our nation. Until we truly know what led to the closure of those entities, I reserved my comment.

@ prophet gbenga, if the church is having leadership crisis is is it el-rufai that will correct or put things in order? What does el-rufai know about the church? 1cor.6:1-9. Christians are not to take their problem to the unjust no matter how spotless the person may think he is. El-rufai should not interfere with what does not concern him. Neco has held back Kaduna State result because of debt he should settle that one if truely he has the interest of the State afterall he promised free education.
