Mother Who Murdered Her Two Children With Hammer In Onitsha Anambra State Says A Spirit Ordered Her
A 33-year-old woman has been arrested for killing her children with a sledgehammer in Anambra state.
The suspect Chinasa Orizu who claimed she was compelled by a spiritual force reportedly killed her 4-year-old daughter Chisom Orizu and her 4 months old son, Kamsiyo Chukwu Orizu a day after she allegedly warned her husband about her plan to murder the children.
On Saturday the 18th of March 2017, Orizu reportedly sent her maid on an errand in order to carry out the murder without interruption.
She reportedly hit her first child with a sledgehammer and she died instantly however while she was about killing her 4 months old, the maid returned.
In a bid to kill the maid, she reportedly left the baby and ran after the maid who escaped and raised an alarm but before neigbhours could rush to the scene, she had succeeded in killing the baby.
Her husband reported the matter to Police which led her immediate arrest.
The sad incident happened at 11A Osumenyi street in Omagba Phase 2 area of Onitsha.
Anambra Police spokesperson Nwode Nkiruka said the suspect confessed to the crime, saying a spiritual force commanded her to kill her two children.
She reportedly had a long standing issue with her husband who abandoned her and the children.

woman is heading to jail and man must be charged to court for abandonment.these cant bring back those innocent kids but let the parents serve out their penalties.
