A housewife in Niger state today dragged her husband, Ibrahim Abdullahi to a Sharia court in Minna for divorce.

Asmau accused her husband of verbal abuse, constant beating and lack of love.

Here is what she said at the court today;

Ibrahim however denied the allegations. He added that he was a good husband and still loved his wife.

The judge Bima Ahmed adjourned the case till the 11th of September and advised the couple to give peace a chance.
