Nov 13, 2011 – Nigerian Cab Driver Killed in Washington DC Over 75 Cent Dispute
Domingo Ezirike, a 40 year-old Nigerian taxi driver, was shot dead on the 22nd of October, 2011 at around 3.35am early morning hours by a 20-year-old Rashad Terrell Slye following a dispute over 75 cent taxi fare. Mr Domingo Ezirike is survived by a wife & 3 little girls.
In order to give Domingo a befitting final trip home his fatherland,Nigeria, the panel of family and friends are planning a wake keeping ceremony to celebrate Domingo’s life. Below is the detail of the event.
