Asaba-based Nigerian couple identified as Augustine Agbona and Ebere Agbona were arrested this past weekend for selling their twin babies for N400,000 in Delta state.
The couple (husband & wife) who sold each baby for N200,000 have since been jailed at Ogwashi Uku prison and Agbon prison respectively.
4 other accomplice to this evil act which include the buyer and the masterminds were granted bail.
The hearing for their case has been adjourned to May 16, 2013.
God have mercy! what could have caused parents to sell their babies… Are they under a spell or what?
